What is adoption?

Adoption is the act of biological parents choosing an adoptive family to raise their child. It is a loving, selfless act and an option for you and your baby.

What does adoption mean for my baby?

When birth parents choose adoption for their child, they give their child the love and security of having parents who are emotionally and financially able to parent.

How do I know that the adoptive parents will take care of my baby?

Adoptive parents must prove that they are emotionally and financially able to parent a child. They have to complete the home study process before being approved as adoptive parents.

Do I get to choose who will raise my child?

Yes. Our AGAPE social workers will help you create an adoption plan that is tailored to your needs and the needs of your baby. Each adoptive family makes a profile that tells about their journey to adoption and you have the option to view profiles to select a family for your baby.
