Welcome AGAPE's 2019 Summer Interns!

Miriam says “I'm excited to be working with Agape this summer & extremely blessed with such an amazing opportunity to work & learn in the social work field!"

The AGAPE Staff is excited to introduce our 2019 interns, Stevie and Miriam!

They will begin their work with AGAPE on June 3, 2019 and will be working alongside our staff to serve children and families.

Both girls just completed their junior years as social work majors: Stevie at Harding University and Miriam at Freed Hardeman University. Originally, Stevie is from Houston, Texas, and Miriam is from Hazel Green, Alabama.

Stevie and Miriam will be working closely with our social services staff this summer. They will be helping to organize AGAPE’s summer activities like, Terrific Tuesdays, Parent’s Night Out, and prepping for our fall Foster Family Retreat.

Stevie states “I cannot wait to spend a summer in Alabama, and I look forward to meeting and learning from the AGAPE staff!!”

In addition, they will be learning about adoption and foster care and developing their social work skills!

AGAPE is thrilled to have Stevie and Miriam, as our interns’ unique gifts and personalities always have a huge impact on our ministry. We are confident that this summer will be a positive and educational experience for them.
